The best car speakers under $100 in 2026 | Crutchfield

New car speakers can make a huge difference in your sound. Best of all, even modestly priced speakers from proven manufacturers can easily outperform most speakers installed at the factory. In this video, we’ll give you some recommendations for speakers that cost under $100 β€” sometimes well under.

Even at that price, you’re getting a much better designed and built speaker than the one that comes with your car. It makes logical sense. Auto manufacturers need speakers that sound just good enough at the lowest price possible. Speaker manufacturers like Kicker, Pioneer, Kenwood or any others only need to design and build the speaker. You get a better made, better sounding product that’s made to last a lot longer. And you don’t need to spend a ton of money to get great results.

  1. i love the kicker cs 6.5s and 6.9s on my ct sounds ct.150.4d amp. Very good power and sound greatt!!! Though, since i decided on swapping my entire subs/amps/ kicker stuff out for a full ct sound build. I gotta admit the ct sound meso 6.5s and 6.9s are truly a work of art and i noticed much higher SQ over the kicker cs ones. So those are back in the box sitting for now only had my kicker build for 3 months so its new stuff lol not going sell it. but ya !! Great speakers overall but for real check out ct sounds excellent price and very high SQ

  2. what trickery with the (tiny magnet) stock speakers makes them produce more bass than dropping 6.5s/6.75s coaxs in the lower door (speaking from a recent Subaru and Mazda and Infinity REF-607F experience (both in the lower front door replacing a factory woofer)??? Both cars have the base 6-speaker configuration with OE HUs. Granted, I know Subaru isn’t know for great HUs, but still, the OE door woofer was boomy and the REF-607F is not. I had Kicker DSC6504s in the door of the mazda and they were terrible.
