just got an IDmaxv4 and gonna install it this weekend. currently running a 500w alpine amp. apparently this sub can run 1000w rms. thinking about swapping to this amp. seems like an awesome amp for the price. the adjustable bass boost frequency really has me considering it. id like to have it set a little below the 50hz that my current amp is defaulted to. an extra 200w@2ohms for just over half the price i paid for my alpine.
He opened it up the board is upside down? its probably got over heating issues like all these things do
I’m still using a set of purple queen stinger rcas….They’ve been in a half dozen cars now. I tried finding more a few years ago and could not. If anyone has any lmk lol
